1979: Where were you the day that US Embassy was stormed in Iran?

It's hard to forget this day from 1979, or the moment when you heard the news that the US Embassy was stormed in Tehran.    

In the end, the Iranian crisis destroyed President Carter because it projected US weakness and impotence.   It also consolidated in power the same Iranian regime that has been at the root of all of the problems in the Middle East.
