2006: Remember when Senator Kerry's resolution got 6 votes!

Back in June 2006, it was put up or shut up in the US Senate.

Sen. Kerry put a resolution to a vote and 6 Democrats were willing to go on record calling for a withdrawal from Iraq by the end of 2006:

Barbara Boxer of California

Robert Byrd of West Virginia

Russ Feingold of Wisconsin

Tom Harkin of Iowa

Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts

John Kerry of Massachusetts

What happened to the other 45 Democrats?  Once again, we saw a party that talked a lot but refused to go on record about calling for a withdrawal.
