Ted Cruz wins big and shakes up the GOP

As you may recall, I predicted a Ted Cruz victory.   However, I had no idea that the margin would be 14 points.  

Ted Cruz won because the voters were enthusiastic about the conservative message and disappointed with the very negative attacks from Dewhurst team.

Beyond Cruz, the big story from this election was the lousy Dem turnout.  

For example, 1.2 million voted in the GOP race in contrast with 200,000 on the Dem side. 

The second big story was the very low Hispanic turnout in District 33.  Only 20,000 people voted in that race!  That is a huge disappointment!  Click here for the Tuesday night show:
