1967: Carl Yastrzemski won Triple Crown & MVP


Carl Yastrzemski accomplished amazing things in 1967.    

First, he led Boston to the World Series.   They lost game 7 to Bob Gibson and St. Louis.

Second, he put together one of the greatest seasons in recent history:   .326, 44 HR & 121 RBI.    

Yaz retired in 1983 with 3,419 hits and 1,844 RBI.
