1) Keep talking about the US economy and the very high 11% unemployment in Hispanic communities;
2) Call for the need to empower Hispanic parents and break up the monopoly of public education. In other words, let's give Hispanic parents "vouchers" so that they can choose a school; and,
3) keep demanding an explanation on how 2,000 guns ended up in the hands of Mexican cartels.
On immigration, Gov Romney should make it clear that we will secure the border and stop criminals with AK-47's from walking into Arizona.
On immigration reform, Gov Romney should punish employers and promote "guest worker" visas for those who want to work. As we've discussed before, the "visa" does not create a path to residency or citizenship. It is simply a legal vehicle to work in the US.
It's true that Hispanics have an emotional attachment to immigration issues. At the same time, they care about the rule of law and respect for the US Constitution.
