Sorry but it's time for someone on the stage to tell Cong Paul that his foreign policy is beyond isolation.....it is dangerous!

Ron Paul makes a lot of sense on domestic matters.  His ideas are sensible although a bit too theoretical for the next president to implement.

My guess is that Pres Paul would have about as much success dismantling The Federal Reserve as Pres BO on closing GITMO or rendition jails and the overall Bush anti-terrorist apparatus that he was so critical of during the campaign.

Reality is reality, as Pres BO has been learning every single day.  Reality will hit Pres Paul right between his eyes and disappoint his supporters.

Nevertheless, I will give Cong Paul credit for putting bold ideas on the table.  He is right about "sound money" and living within our constitution.  Right on Mr Paul!

On foreign policy, Ron Paul is truly flirting with the absurd.

How exactly are we denying people their 4th amendment rights under The Patriot Act?  or what about all of this nonsense about starting wars without going to Congress?  Didn't Pres Bush get war resolutions from Congress to go into Iraq and Afghanistan?  Don't you remember all of those Dems giving speeches in the Congress saying that Saddam had WMDs and must be removed?

I recall that Guiliani took Paul directly during one of the 2008 debates.  It's time for Romney or Gingrich to do the same.  You can not have a presidential candidate making such outregous remakrs about Iran, nuclear weapons and our overall interests around the world.

We discussed this, the state of the primary & the GOP debate with Richard Baehr of The American Thinker:
