We've witnessed another example of bad, bad governing: We've just raided the Social Security fund so that we can "pass" a tax cut"!
Again, this is bad governance!
No one is getting a tax cut. We are not cutting "tax rates" to encourage business activity or expansion.
What we are doing is extending the payroll tax "holiday" but we are not reducing future Social Security benefits by a similar amount.
I understand that the House GOP did not play their political cards correctly. However, they were right because we can not continue to act like Greece without eventually turning into Greece.
I agree with Don Surber: Stop stealing from Social Security
