The US-Mexico border is STILL very dangerous!

In case you did not hear it, CBS is now reporting that we sent "grenades" to Mexico, too:

"Grenades are weapons-of-choice for the cartels. An attack on Aug. 25 in a Monterrey, Mexico casino killed 53 people." (CBS

This information comes on top of the news that Congress wants AG Holder to explain the inconsistencies over 2010 memos.  It sounds to a lot of us like AG Holder does not read his memos or did not tell Congress the truth.

We also learned last week that Iran tried to make contact with Mexican cartels.

Frankly, it makes a lot of sense for Iran to do it.

Iran wants to bring a bomb into the US and no one knows the US-Mexico border better than the aforementioned cartels.

Ken Allard, who knows a thing or two about national security, has a new post on the story:

"The Mexican drug cartels are the only group that may be more professional and lethal than the Quds Force. The cartels preside over a logistical empire extending from just south of my San Antonio home to nationwide outlets as close as your neighborhood 7-11.
If you seek to do serious harm to the United States, they’re an excellent choice thanks to the scope and reach of their networks, just as Hertz and Avis make a good choice for car rentals.....
There is a growing population of Middle Eastern immigrants in key regions throughout Latin America, including Brazil, Panama, and Peru, as well as Iranian proxies in Hugo Chávez’s Venezuela.
In April 2009, Adm. James Stavridis, then commander of our southern forces, warned that the terrorist group Hezbollah was involved in regional drug trafficking.
In 2010, another DOD report warned that the Quds group was active in Latin America, possibly reflecting earlier Iranian statements that “our presence in Latin America was a very wise move.”"

We've been saying for some time that the US-Mexico is no longer an "immigration issue".

It is NOW a national security issue as the latest information about an Iranian plot proves.
