Am I the only one who thinks that there are too many people on stage AND zero discussions on foreign policy?
Are we ever going to have questions about Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, the US-Mexico border, the Iranian influence in Latin America, trade with China, and a few other foreign policy issues?
Let's look at the individual performances:
Santorum---he had a great answer on faith and family....I still think that he'd be a great VP prospect because Pres BO is doing poorly in PA.
Paul---I agree with some of his economic ideas but his foreign policy is dangerous.....we do not have a deficit because of the troops in South Korea! Also, can you believe what he said about the terrorists in GITMO? What doesn't Paul understand about the people in GITMO?
Cain---good performance but 9-9-9 will be a hard sell. Also, his comments about an "electrified" border is very silly.
Romney----another outstanding performance.....I loved it when he spoke about religion and economic policy. Let me say it again: He is very presidential!
Perry---a couple of good moments but he really blew it when he went after Romney for hiring a landscaping company that used illegals.....are you kidding Gov Perry?
Gingrich----still the smartest man on stage.....I hope that the next GOP president selects him as Sec of State.
Bachman----good but not good enough to go up in the rankings. I liked her answer about "moms" and foreclosures....she put a human cost on the terrible housing situation in the country.
Overall, Romney did well, Perry did not and Gingrich is a genius!
