After the speech, Pres BO went out and called on Congress to pass it "now".
Where are we almost a month after we were told to pass the bill "now"?
First, the bill is sitting at the Dem Senate. The Dems have a 53-47 majority but do not have the votes to pass it now.
Second, the House is going very slow too. In fact, there is no rush to co-sponsor the bill in the House.
Maybe Pres BO should do another speech. He spoke last month on opening night of the NFL season. Maybe he can give another speech before the 7th game of the World Series!
