A great weekend for the "sales tax collector" in Arlington, Texas!

It does not get any better than this for the local sales tax collector.  How would you like to have about 250,000 spend money in your neighborhood?

On Friday night, over 50,000 fans showed up to watch the Rays beat the Rangers at The Ballpark.  It was a horrible game to watch because Texas was asleep against the Rays!

On Saturday afternoon, about 75,000 watched Arkansas beat Texas A&M at Cowboys Stadium.  It was another "good first half, very bad second half" for the Aggies.

Can someone please tell the Aggies that this is a 4-quarter game?  This is really getting old!

On Saturday evening, another 50,000 cheered a Rangers' victory.  Texas looked more like the first place Rangers that we've been watching all year.

On Sunday, 80,000 saw the Cowboys and Lions.  We watched Tony Romo throw 3 interceptions and give another game away.  They are 2-2 but could have won everyone of their 4 games!

Who was the big winner of the weekend?  It has to be the city of Arlington, Texas.

Over the years, Arlington has used its location to attract professional teams, concerts and others that bring people with cash to spend to the area.

Remember "If you build it they will come"!

They came this weekend to Arlington, TX!
