I guess that Fidel got invested in "hope and change" and got "Bushed"! (Welcome to the club. There is a line from here to Buenos Aires of "yes we can screamers" who want their "hope and change" money back)
Actually, Fidel Castro is angry because Pres BO will not end the embargo.
Why do Fidel & Raul Castro want to end the embargo?
Because the Castro brothers want "credit". They want access to all of those "export credit" programs offered to nations in good standing with the US.
This is all about "credit" and "financing". It has nothing to do with selling to Cuba because any company or country can do that today.
Want to sell to Cuba? Go ahead. Nobody stops anyone from going to Cuba and doing business with the Castro dictatorship.
There won't be any change toward Cuba unless Fidel & Raul Castro decide to have "free and open" elections.
Here is the bottom line: The embargo will stay! It will stay as long as the Castro brothers are the island's dictators!
