Dem left on "mute mode": Pres BO is now the biggest "fan" of the Bush anti-terror policies that he ran against!

It wasn't supposed to be this way.  He was the anti-Bush, the man who would close GITMO and make us popular all over again.

Pres BO is now facing huge opposition from the left about his policy of killing terrorists.  They voted for the anti-Bush but got Bush III on the war on terror.

Was candidate BO that naive or was he just telling the left what it wanted to hear during the campaign?  I'm starting to think that it was cynical pandering or telling a lot of Bush critics what they wanted to hear.

However, that was then and this is now.  He is responsible for national security now and not giving speeches like 2007-08!  It's a lot more complicated to govern than to speak before "18-year olds" invested in a personality cult!
