Congratulations to the Texas Rangers!

The Rangers did not look good in game 1.  They couldn't hit, pitch or run the bases.

Frankly, they stunk.

They had some of us thinking that Texas had run into a "team of destiny" in Tampa.  What else do you say when a rookie makes one of the best offenses in baseball look so bad?

Everything changed in game 2 and all the way to the clincher today.

We congratulate Texas and wish them well in the LCS against Detroit or NY.

We've come a long way from those days when the Rangers could not win post-season games or a series.

Remember those brutal post season losses to the Yankees in '96, '98 and '99?

Remember all of those 1-run defeats to New York?  They were painful to watch because the Rangers were in every game down to the last out!

That was then and this is now.

The Rangers have advanced to the LCS for the second straight year.  We send our best to Nolan Ryan, Ron Washington and everyone of the players.
