Congratulations to Paul & the new Mrs McCartney

We learned that Paul McCartney got married over the weekend.

As everybody knows, Paul & Linda were married for 30 years until she died in 1998.  It was one of the most successful marriages in show business.  It's still hard to think of Paul without Linda!

A couple of years after her death, Paul married Heather and that turned out to be a disaster.

Question: What can go wrong when a 20-something marries a 60-something guy with millions in the bank?  The answer is that a lot can go wrong and it did!  Bad decision! I think that they are still arguing about her money!

His new wife is Nancy and let's hope that it is a very happy marriage.  She is a pretty 50-something lady and that's probably a better fit for Paul.   Nancy is old enough to remember Paul's songs and that's great!

According to news reports, they were married in London:

"Earlier this afternoon, hundreds of well-wishers greeted the former Beatle and his bride as they arrived at the Old Marylebone Town Hall -- the same place where McCartney said "I do" to his first wife, Linda, in 1969."

We wish the couple a lot of happy times.

Maybe Paul sang "And I love her" to Nancy.  It was a very nice song from their first movie:

"I give her all my love That's all I do
And if you saw my love You'd love her too
I love her

She gives me everything And tenderly
The kiss my lover brings She brings to me
And I love her

A love like ours Could never die
As long as I Have you near me

Bright are the stars that shine Dark is the sky
I know this love of mine Will never die
And I love her

Bright are the stars that shine Dark is the sky
I know this love of mine Will never die
And I love her."
