You can not make this up.
First, we've had high unemployment for much of the post-stimulus period. Remember the stimulus that was supposed to keep the unemployment rate under 8%?
We learned that Pres BO's request for a speech before Congress ran into some scheduling conflicts, i.e. the GOP debate at The Reagan Library.
Does the Obama White House have anyone in charge of "scheduling"?
Here is my question: Why didn't Pres BO deliver the speech this week? Hasn't he been back in town all of this week? Hasn't his staff been working on "the speech" for a while?
I guess that US voters will have to pick between Pres BO & the Saints-Packers game!
Any bets? Who do you think will get a larger audience? Can you say NFL?
With respect to the "scheduling feud", we understand that the left is angry at Pres BO (again!) for not standing up to the GOP. They think that Pres BO always blinks first when he goes eye to eye with Speaker Boehner!
