We are very excited about the Aggies' prospects in 2011.
In fact, I think that they will win every game and lose to Oklahoma on November 5th!
They will lose because the game is at Norman, a very difficult place to beat the Sooners.
Texas A&M will go 11-1 and get a very good Bowl Game in January.
Frankly, I hope that they play here in the Cotton Bowl but that's just regional partisanship on my part.
It will be easier for my sons to get to the game if it's played here in the Dallas area.
It did shock me a bit when the Mustangs made it a game in the 2nd quarter. You have to congratulate SMU for fighting and playing hard. They didn't quit against the heavily favored Aggies!
Idaho is next and then comes Oklahoma State, always tough against the Aggies.
Get ready for a fun season. It will be great! I am hoping to get to the game against Arkansas at Cowboys Stadium on October 1st!
Of course, no one does halftime like the Aggies band. This is from 2009-10 but these performances get better with age:
