Here is the good news: All of the experts had picked the Jets to beat up the Cowboys. I did not hear a single person predict a Dallas' victory.
Here is the bad news: The Cowboys gave the game away in the 4th quarter!
Like most of you, I was in "7th heaven" when Dallas was very deep in New York territory. I had images of Dallas scoring one of the biggest upsets in Week 1 and flying home 1-0 against the favored Jets.
Then Tony Romo fumbled.....what was he doing trying to score and exposing the ball to a fumble? It's easy to "second guess" but why not just take a knee and go for the easy FG or 3 points.
Then Tony Romo threw an interception on the first play after the defense picked up a fumble.
Again, it's easy "to second guess" but it looked like a bad pass or a terrible misunderstanding between QB Romo and Bryant, the receiver.
The Cowboys were not supposed to win this game but it ended up being a real "heart breaker" for those of us watching in Dallas.
