Maureen's anger is nothing compared to the environmentalists.
On Friday, the Obama White House actually made a good decision. It decided to check "the out of control EPA", or the biggest "job killer" agency in the US.
Like GITMO, terrorist trials and Iraq, Pres BO met reality and he cracked again:
"Facing fierce resistance from congressional Republicans, industry and some local officials, President Obama abruptly pulled back proposed smog standards Friday that would have compelled states and communities nationwide to reduce local air pollution or face federal penalties."
We repeat that Pres BO made the right call by putting job creation over ideology.
We need job creation, specially after Friday's disastrous report.
However, the left is furious because they voted for change and are getting none of it!
Do you get the feeling that the left wished that McCain had won the election? I think that they would have had a lot more fun blasting a Pres McCain and imagining how great the "dreamy" Sen BO would have been if he had been elected.
Didn't someone say "be careful what you wished for because you may get it"?
