A company named Solyndra and a few more toughts on the GOP debate!

We learned today that the FBI raided Solyndra's offices.  Why?  What for?  We don't know but something must smell bad.

Solyndra was Pres BO's favorite company in 2010.  In fact, they got a $500 million loan guarantee to promote "green jobs".

There is a lot more, according to Ed Morrissey who posted this yesterday:

"So far, it’s managed to make $535 million disappear from the economy and took 1000 jobs with it.

As ABC reported yesterday, taxpayers are actually behind the company’s main investor, George Kaiser, in recouping the losses.

Coincidentally, Kaiser was a big bundler for Obama in 2008."

As Ed reports, Soyndra's management team also made several trips to The White House.

This is a huge problem for two reasons:

1) Pres BO will call for more "green jobs" but there is little employment to show for this; and,

2) This is another case of Chicago "pay to play" politics brought to Washington by Pres BO and his cadre of advisers.

How far will this scandal travel?  I don't know but it does smell bad.

Speaking of the debate, it does look to me like Mitt Romney got the most out of it.  He looked presidential, well prepared and confident.

My guess is that you will see more and more GOP'ers turn to Romney as the best option to defeat Pres BO.  (By the way, Romney beats BO, 49-45, in a most recent poll.)
