Some cried because of the historic nature of BO's election or the first black man elected president. Others cried because they got "drunk on change" and had Messianic visions of BO's presidency.
They are not crying in Chicago anymore. In fact, Steve Chapman is calling on Pres BO to withdraw:
"The vultures are starting to circle. Former White House spokesman Bill Burton said that unless Obama can rally the Democratic base, which is disillusioned with him, "it's going to be impossible for the president to win." Democratic consultant James Carville had one word of advice for Obama: "Panic.""
We don't know if Pres BO will listen and step aside and let Sec Clinton be the 2012 nominee. Nevertheless, it is remarkable that a Chicago newspaper would be the first one to call for Pres BO to go home in '13!
