Let me repeat. Qaddafi has American blood on his hands. He killed US soldiers in Germany back in '86. He also supported the horrific PAN AM 103 bombing that killed over 200 passengers, including many US citizens and college students flying home for the Christmas vacation.
In other words, Qaddafi is a criminal and should be taken out.
I did not support the Obama administration for two reasons:
1) Pres BO did not consult with Congress. How do you start a conflict of this magnitude without going to Congress? What was Pres BO thinking?
2) Pres BO did not use US air power months ago when it would have been very effective at breaking the back of Qaddafi's army. Sen McCain is right about this!
Today, we must make sure that the weapons do not fall on the wrong hands. We do not want Al Qaeda or others "walking out" of Libya with chemical bombs.
Beyond Libya, we got further info today about Pres BO's electoral weakness:
1) He is minus 24 in the latest Rasmussen "intensity" poll;
2) Gallup has his approval at 38%; and,
3) Romney leads Obama, 48-46%.
We remind you that polls are polls and things can change. In other words, things could improve or deteriorate for Pres BO. No matter what, he continues to be at under 50% and that's always a problem with incumbents.
