What's the point of immigration laws IF you are going to "politicize deportation rules"?

We learned this from the latest Gallup poll:

"Hispanic-Americans are souring on the Obama presidency, according to a Gallup poll that shows just 49 percent of them approve of his job performance."

What do you do when "hispanos" have soured on "hope and change"?  I guess that you distract them with a change in deportation rules.

As we posted before, I have never seen a president of the US play the race or ethnic card like Pres BO.

This is an insult to the rule of law.  It is an even bigger insult to those of us who came here legally or the many waiting their turn around the world.

Someone should remind Pres BO that immigration laws are about national security and sovereignty.

They are not recruiting tools to get "hispanos" to forget about broken promises or an economy that stinks for most "hispanos".

We remind you that every country in the world has immigration laws.

Every country expects people from other countries to respect and abide by its immigration laws.

Every country uses the threat of deportation as a hammer to 'remove" those who do not respect the local immigration laws.

What is the point of "exempting" those who are not a national security risk or have engaged in criminal behavior?

Why is the point of exempting 99% of the people who are in the country illegally and subject to deportation?

Why have immigration laws at all? Why not just say:

1) Welcome to the US; and,

2) Make sure that you sign up to vote for BO!

Again, we've never seen such a naked politicization of immigration policy in US history.  This is doing by presidential decree what a Dem president & Dem Congress could not do by constitutional means!

Last, but not least, we remind you that voters want border security over immigration reform by a 2-1 margin!  Is the Obama administration that deaf?

P.S. We spoke about this with on Monday night with Allan Wall, Cecilia Torres and Dr Ileana Johnson:
