Speaker Pelosi warned us: You have to pass BO-Care it to learn what's in it!
The lady was right! We learned that birth control pills are now a "right"! Wonder what the Founding Fathers think of that?
This is from National Review:
"Under new HHS regulations, which the department is authorized to create under Obamacare, insurance plans will be required to cover birth control — including the morning-after pill “ella,” which seems to work as an abortifacient in some cases — with no co-pay.
The rule will take effect Aug. 1, 2012, or later.
Of course, insurance companies don’t provide anything for “free.”
Any time they cover a new service or eliminate co-pays, they charge higher premiums to make up the lost revenue.
So the department is forcing people who do not use birth control to subsidize it, through higher premiums, for people who do."
Welcome to the brand new world. Do you understand now why they didn't want to hold hearings or answer questions about BO-Care?
This is an outrage.
First, birth control is a private matter. It is between a husband and wife.
Second, this is none of the federal government's business.
Once again, we see the mindless expansion of federal powers, from the EPA to decisions about family planning.
