We warned BO's supporters in 2008 that it was all too good to be true. It was a thesis (really a fantasy) based on two very silly assumptions:
1) Everything was Bush's fault; and,
2) You can elect a man without executive experience and have him successfully do the most difficult job one earth. In other words, what were these voters smoking when they voted for a man who had never run anything?
It was too good to be true and the left is now in a very depressed state of mind. George Walden from the UK calls it "....a lover's disappointment" based on "absurdly unrealistic expectations"!
They want the '2008 BO" but he is not there. As we've said before, winning the election was the worst thing that happened to BO.
It was a fantasy, a first rate fairy tale that millions subscribed to because they wanted "change".
"But one person I never thought would fall into this valley was Barack Obama, the charismatic candidate who electrified the electorate in 2008 and whom many saw as the fulfillment of the dream of the even-more-electrifying Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Yet here Obama is, down in the valley, struggling to connect with the American people and failing, increasingly coming across as dispassionate to some and outright revolting to others."

Charles's disappointment is shared by lots of those who voted for "change": Obama Faces Criticism From Liberals, Unions, Latinos
First, the liberals are mad because he has continued Pres Bush's policies in Iraq, GITMO and terrorists will face military trials. Also, the left does not like the 30,000 troops in Afghanistan or the little "undeclared war" in Libya.
Last, but not least, the left will explode when they hear that Sec Panetta just said that we will stay in Iraq. Yes, Pres BO, the anti-Bush, will now implement the policy that Sen McCain called for in 2008!
Change.....change....what change?
Second, the unions are furious because he reversed himself on the Korea and Colombia Free Trade Agreements. They didn't like his absence from the Wisconsin union battles either. They probably did not care for the sight of a liberal president traveling around the Midwest in an expensive bus from Quebec!
Third, the "latinos" are unhappy because he did not present an immigration proposal as promised in 2008. "Si se puede" is now "no se puede" in Latino communities! Add to this "very high" unemployment in Latino areas and you have all of the making of a massive "desencanto".
Even blacks are turning on Pres BO: Rep. Maxine Waters says blacks want Obama to get tough
Check out the very liberal Juan Williams:
"If you are a right-winger who does not like President Obama and calls his policies “socialist,” you’ve got to hear what is going on among America’s left-wingers."
Yes, the left and the right agree: This is not the BO that thrilled us in '08. I guess that reality caught up with the fantasy! It usually does!
Like the guy who wrote a bunch of checks without funds, Pres BO now has a lot of people on the phone, or at his door, asking for the money.
Dear liberals: What were you thinking when you accepted the check in the first place? What were you thinking?
