The left is desperately looking for the guy who gave those "'hope and change" speeches and told them what they wanted to hear!

A funny thing happened on the road to Obama World......Pres BO threw the "yes we can" screamers under the bus and compromised with the GOP over the debt ceiling bill!

Have you ever seen so much dissatisfaction with a Dem president?
Half of the Dems in the House did not vote for the "compromise"!

I guess that you have to go back to Pres Clinton pushing NAFTA to recall so much anger in the left wing of the Dem party.  Or, Ralph Nader running against VP Gore in 2000 as a protest to Pres Clinton signing all of those GOP bills during his second term!  Or, Sen Ted Kennedy challenging Pres Carter in 1980!

Froma Harrop
wants a primary challenge because she does not think that the man that she massively fell in love with in 2008 has a heartbeat:

"But Democrats would do themselves a huge favor if they had a living, breathing leader as their presidential candidate in 2012.

Won't someone step up?"

The Obama White House is in full reaction mode:

The left is looking for the guy who promised them so much during the '08 campaign.  Remember "The One" who made them cry when he visited Germany?  (Obama Base Livid Over Debt Deal)

The left is not happy.  Check out David Corn's harsh assessment of "The One's" lack of leadership! (
President Obama's Hope-a-Dope Strategy )

Remember how James Fallows used to jump up and down at the "hope and change" rallies?   He is not jumping anymore.  In fact, I think that James is a bit disappointed!  (
Obama Is a Pawn Not a Chess Master )

Remember the guy who said that "we are the ones we've been waiting for"!  Even Eugene Robinson, one of the "loudest yes we can screamers" in the media is having a hard time with the debt deal!  ("It's supremely galling. It's unbalanced, unfair and mostly unwise. For President Obama and the Democratic Party, it's a comprehensive defeat. But it's not the end of the world")

Check out those golden days of '08 when they treated BO like "a savior" rather than a presidential candidate.  We warned them that the whole thing was a fantasy and "too good to be true".

I guess that they had to find out for themselves.  They have and mad as hell, too:
