In the interest of full disclosure, I supported Mitt Romney in 2008 until Sen McCain clinched the GOP nomination in the Texas primary. I worked hard for Sen McCain in the general election but it did not happen.
So far, Romney looks like the best general election candidate in 2012 unless Gov Perry gets in or Gov Huckabee reconsiders.
As I posted a few weeks ago, Romney-Rubio would be a great ticket in 2012.
I don't have anything against the GOP field. However, I am looking for someone who can win in 2012 because Obama II would be a disaster for the US and the world.
Our next president will probably pick 1-3 Supreme Court Justices and that could change our culture ("same sex marriage") and destroy our liberties ("BO-Care").
Mitt Romney's campaign is running a general election campaign and focusing on Pres BO.
He is concentrating on American greatness (like Reagan) rather than apologies to Europeans defended by US troops for the last 60 years. Who kept the Soviet tanks out of Western Europe? It was US power not "hope and change"! It was thousands of young US soldiers prepared to defend Europe rather than the leftist clowns who hand out "Nobel Peace Prizes"!
He is also talking about Pres BO's failed economic policies and their impact on towns like Allentown, PA. He is reminding everyone that "the stimulus" stimulated government rather than the private sector.
