I like the Tea Party approach because it's about ideas rather traditional politics.
Speaking of ideas, let me share these points or make these suggestions to the GOP:
1) Do not apologize for illegal immigration. Serious Hispanics do not support illegal immigration. They believe in the rule of law, specially if they came here from Latin America.
2) Do not demonize illegal immigrants. Let's come up with rational solutions that allow some of them to work legally in the US.
3) Talk about abortion. Repeat over and over that we are a pro-life party.
4) Talk about traditional marriage, or between a man and a woman.
5) School vouchers. Talk about giving control to the parents! Public education is a miserable failure for inner city children, whether they are black or Hispanic. This is a winning issue because serious parents know that public schools are not working!
