The GOP House will vote on a plan.....it's up to Pres BO to make the next move!

The House will vote next week.  Today, we learned that the GOP House will put a proposal for a vote:  House GOP Takes New Tack in Debt Talks -- Schedules Vote on 'Cap, Cut and Balance' Pledge

Good move!  Let's start voting and governing!

In brief, the proposal will raise the debt ceiling by $2.4 trillion but with matching cuts and guidelines to curb future spending.

Again, we finally have something on the table that we can argue about!

On Friday, Pres BO had another press conference but did not provide specifics on programs or cuts.

Frankly, I was very disappointed that Pres BO did not get a single question about his lack of plan or specifics.  It is incredible how Pres BO is allowed to speak in such generalities without challenge from the White House press corps.

Where do we go from here?  The proposal will probably pass the House and the ball moves to the Senate Dems and Pres BO.
