Wednesday: Politics and polls!

We got more bad polls about Pres BO yesterday:  Voters give Obama lowest rating yet on economy

It is devastating, specially his ratings on the economy:

".....only 37 percent of registered voters approve of his handling of the economy, his lowest rating ever, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll."

Again, this is not good only 16 months before the 2012 gets going.

Pres BO has another problem.  He has lost David Brooks of The NY Times.  Today, Brooks wrote about Pres BO's management style:

"Obama’s actual governing style emphasizes delegation and occasional passivity.

Being led by Barack Obama is like being trumpeted into battle by Miles Davis.

He makes you want to sit down and discern."

Add Maureen Dowd ("On some of the most important issues facing this nation, it is time for the president to come out of the closet")and that's two NY Times columnists who are tired of watching Pres BO think rather than act.

In 2008, we said that candidate Sen BO did not have executive experience in the public or private sector.  He had never run anything.  He had voted present over 100 times in Illinois.

Yet, people fell for "hope and change" without taking into the account the individual delivering the message.

Pres BO is not an executive.  He does not like confronting issues or tackling problems.  He loves speeches, specially those delivered before adoring audiences.

Again, he is not an executive.  I just don't know why people like Brooks or Dowd did not see it in 2008.

I understand Dowd.  She is partisan leftist and was drunk with "Bush Derangement Syndrome".

Brooks is a real disappointment because he is a smart guy who should have known a lot better.
