We spoke with George Rodriguez, our friend from the San Antonio Tea Party.
As I discussed with George, I am sick and tired of hearing "racista" every time that we challenge the "open borders" approach of the Hispanic left.
First, every country in the world has immigration laws. It is a demonstration of sovereignty not racism.
Second, we need immigration laws to maintain order in our country.
Third, you can not allow every person in the world to walk over to the US. It is insane to think or propose that!
Fourth, voter-ID laws are intended to control vote fraud not to keep any specific group from voting.
Fifth, no city in this country has the right to violate federal immigration laws.
What if cities decided that they were not going to enforce federal tax laws? What if these cities allowed employers to stop deducting or paying federal taxes?
Let me say it again. We need a sensible immigration policy that includes "guest work" visas for people who want to work in the US.
I like what they did in Utah. They will enforce immigration laws but allow people to apply for work visas so that they can work legally.
Most of all, the "hispano left" needs to stop calling me a "racista' because I believe that the US has a duty to enforce immigration laws.
