In Texas, the legislature passed a Voter-ID bill. It met with the usual liberal opposition. However, what is wrong with making sure that the vote is honest and true? What is possibly wrong with asking people to identify themselves before they vote?
The legislature did not come together on "the sanctuary city" bill. I read news reports that business interests put pressure on legislators. However, my argument is about the rule of law. How can Denton and Dallas apply federal immigration laws differently?
