Gov Perry looks more and more like he is running and that's a good thing.
Gov Perry has been a lucky guy over the years. He was the Lt Governor when Gov Bush became president.
He is now the governor of the #1 job creator in North America, the state of Texas.
To be fair, Texas's economy is the result of a lot of good bi-partisan work. In other words, we have a lot of Dems down here who understand that wealth has to be created before it is distributed.
Gov Perry's timing may be on target again in 2012. He will become the #1 option to Gov Romney. It will be a good race because both men have a lot to offer.
2012 won't be about ideology, such as abortion and same sex-marriage. It will be about executive competence, deficits, an out of control EPA, and the reckless expansion of the federal government.
I can't wait for the next GOP debate, specially if Gov Perry is around to talk about Texas, the #1 anti-Obama state in the union.
