I can support these air strikes because Al Qaeda could exploit the power vacuum in Yemen.
However, wouldn't it be nice if Pres BO would explain to the nation why we are dropping bombs in Yemen?
Isn't that what a president is supposed to do?
We heard over and over that Pres Bush unilaterally invaded countries and used US military power. In reality, he got congressional resolutions to attack Afghanistan and Iraq.
On the other hand, Pres BO has authorized US power in Libya and now Yemen without even going to Congress.
Where are the liberals? I guess that they must be at sleep. We don't hear them anymore saying that all of these air strikes are killing civilians and recruiting terrorists! We don't hear that recruiting stuff about GITMO now that Pres BO has kept it open!
I can't wait for the liberals to accuse the next GOP president of acting unilaterally!
