About 10 years ago, one of my sons played in a summer baseball tournament.
We were told to bring our sons' birth certificates to make sure that they were eligible to play. (I guess that the tournament leaders were concerned that someone might try to sneak an older boy in one of the teams)

So what's the big deal about asking the president to provide a birth certificate?
Doesn't the US constitution require that a president be a natural born citizen?
What's the big deal? Why are we even talking about a president's birth certificate?
Why are talking about it in his 3rd year in office?
The answer is that candidate BO did not release a full birth certificate.

"In the interests of full transparency and disclosure, in the interests of protecting the Constitution and the integrity of our elections, we need to force Obama and all other presidential candidates to show us their birth certificates before they join any presidential campaign and demonstrate they are eligible to serve us.
Anything less is a deep betrayal of our most basic democratic ideals."
