A word about Catherine Crawford
Beatriz and I attended Catherine Crawford's funeral mass this morning.
We were joined by lots of Catherine's friends, family and other people from our community.
Catherine died a few days ago after a long and tough battle with cancer.
She was born in The Philippines. She married Richard Crawford and they lived in North Texas for years.
We met the Crawfords years ago and became close friends because of so many mutual interests.
Beatriz and Catherine were close because they were "CHIRP sisters" at church.
She was a wonderful wife & mother. She was also a very devout Catholic. She taught all of us a great deal about the importance of faith and God in our lives.
We will miss Catherine's smile, personality and all of that "Filipino" food that she was famous for!
