As I posted before, I love Spain because my ancestors were born there.
On my father's side, the first Canto came to Cuba in the 1840's. On my mother's side, my "Abuelo Pedro" was born in Asturias and moved to Cuba in the 1920's.
I love Spain because it is our "mother country", the land of our roots.
This is why it's so sad to see what PM Rod-Zapatero, and his legion of socialists, have done to that country.

Soeren Kern is a Senior Analyst for Transatlantic Relations at the Madrid-based Grupo de Estudios Estratégicos / Strategic Studies Group.
"A case study on how incompetent politicians, blinded by postmodern socialist ideology and prone to reckless government spending, combined with voter apathy, can drive a nation into the ditch."
Of course, "Rod-Zap" became the PM when his party shamefully blamed the March '04 train bombs on PM Aznar's decision to support Pres Bush in Iraq.
He won barely and then pulled Spain out of the Iraq coalition.
In the end, Spanish troops left Iraq but the terrorists did not leave Spain.
PM Rod-Zap's decision encouraged terrorists and confirmed that some in Europe are simply not serious about the threats that the continent faces.

We are happy to report that PM Rod-Zap will not be around for another election.
Let's hope that the people of Spain will wake up and realize that socialism is a disease not a solution.
