Where was Pres BO? I don't think that he will be answering any questions about this "flip-flop" anytime soon.
Candidate BO spent much of 2007-08 "bad mouthing" GITMO. He joined the chorus that GITMO hurt our reputation around the world and even "recruited" terrorists.
So what happens now? Will we now see marches saying that Pres BO's policies are hurting our image or helping Al Qaeda to recruit people?
Let me ask a couple of further questions:
1) Who is going to apologize to Pres Bush, VP Cheney and all of the Americans who protected us because of GITMO?
2) Did candidate BO understand the complications of GITMO when he was speaking in front of "yes we can" screamers?
