Yes, we should respect the opposition.
Yes, we should disagree without being disagreeable or calling each other names.
However, aren't you sick and tired of the selective indignation coming out of the left?
Didn't these people routinely call Pres Bush "a war criminal" or heading a "police state"?
Didn't these people say that Pres Bush "lied about Iraq" even thought he was repeating word by word what Pres Clinton used to say about Saddam and WMDs?
Do you remember Michael Moore's movie? or the one about the assassination of Pres Bush? or the books about the killing of Pres Bush? or the hysterical treatment given to Joe Wilson?
Where was the concern for language and civility back then?
We disagree strongly with Pres BO but have never called him names in this blog.
I respect Pres BO because he is the president of the US and a man.
I'd love to see the left clean up its own act before they preach anything about civility!
