We learned today that we are sending more troops to Afghanistan:
"Defense Secretary Robert Gates has decided to send an additional 1,400 Marine combat forces to Afghanistan, officials said, in a surprise move ahead of the spring fighting season to try to cement tentative security gains before White House-mandated troop reductions begin in July." (FOX)
I am not opposed to sending troops. I understand the strategic importance of Afghanistan.
My question is this: Why is it only US troops?
Where are the NATO troops?
It's time for Pres BO to get "very vocal" and call on NATO allies to do their share.
