The NY Times became a cheerleader and the loudest of the "yes we can" screamers!
Guess who is very disappointed today with Pres BO?

"The captors will win this battle, if they haven’t already by the time you read this, because Obama has seemingly surrendered his once-considerable abilities to act, decide or think."
It's hilarious to watch how the "yes we can" screamers of 2008 are now the disenchanted of 2010.
It's even more absurd to listen to people like Rich blame Republicans because the majority Dems could not govern!
But there is more. Michael Lerner wants a Democrat to challenge Pres BO in 2012:
"With his base deeply disillusioned, many progressives are starting to believe that Obama has little chance of winning reelection unless he enthusiastically embraces a populist agenda and worldview - soon.
Yet there is little chance that will happen without a massive public revolt by his constituency that goes beyond rallies, snide remarks from television personalities or indignant op-eds."
So Pres BO needs a left wing challenger in the primaries?
Does Mr Lerner remember 1980 when Pres Carter got a left wing challenger from Sen Kennedy? How did that work for Pres Carter?
Pres BO does not need a left wing challenge or whining from The NY Times.
Pres BO needs to stand for something.
Can he do that? Can this man get angry and stand for something?
Let's face it: BO is weak and the kind of man who turns his cheek rather than fight.
He is not presidential material, as many Democrats suspected back in 2008!
