A word about Sparky Anderson

We heard that Sparky Anderson died yesterday.

Sparky managed the Big Red Machine in the 1970s and then Detroit until the mid-90s.

Anderson led Cincinnati to 4 NL pennants and the series in 1975 & 1976. He led the Tigers to a series win in 1984.

He was one of the most successful managers ever: .545 winning pct!

And a wonderful baseball analyst in post season baseball.
