We are now into "the post game show" of the 2010 elections.
In other words, what happened and why did it happen?
It's easy to blame everything on the US economy. However, Pres BO's problems go beyond unemployment or anemic economic growth.
First, BO-Care was rushed and poorly explained. It was a mistake to pass so much so quickly. It would have made a lot more sense to pass "targeted reforms", such as pre-existing conditions or tax credits to encourage people to purchase insurance.
Second, it was stupid to pass a stimulus plan that had no stimulative features. It did not make sense either to predict that unemployment would go over 8% if the stimulus did not pass.
Talk about overselling!
Third, the "terrorist trials" in New York, plus closing GITMO, presented an administration out of touch with reality.
Fourth, who came up with the idea of reading the "underwear" bomber his Miranda Rights? How silly is that?
Fifth, who decided to take Arizona to court? or allow Pres Calderon of Mexico to come to the US Congress and criticize a law passed by the citizens of Arizona to protect their state from illegal immigration?
Pres BO's electoral problems go beyond a bad economy.
What we are witnessing is a disconnect between this president and the American people!
Pres BO has the time to turn this around but the clock is ticking!
