Pres BO will face a "brave new world" on Wednesday.
Forget the new Congress.
He will have to deal with a very angry left....the same bunch that worked hard to defeat Hillary Clinton in all of those "caucuses"......the same left that has so little to show for its efforts to elect a president and Dem majority!
First, let's start with Afghanistan.
The left will turn on the war as soon as they are officially a minority party again.
Here is the mother of all ironies: Pres BO will have to lineup with conservative Republicans to save the Afghanistan war.
It will be the Republican majority that funds the war!
It will be Sen McCain who leads the effort in the US Senate to stop Dem liberals from cutting off funds!
Second, let's check out the public sector unions, the same unions who mobilized to nominate and ultimately elect candidate BO.
Pres BO will have to say "no" to the pubic sector unions who will call for another stimulus to save their jobs.
Why "no"?
We don't have the money and the Republican will not bail out public sector unions. (Thank you Republicans!)
Third, the left will go ballistic when Pres BO is forced to "militarize" the US-Mexico border.
What choice does Pres BO have? The US-Mexico border is a war zone and national security will force Pres BO to throw the Hispanic left under the bus.
It will be a very painful 2011 for "hope and change" and all of those silly enough to jump on the 2008 bandwagon.
It won't be pretty but it will end when Pres BO takes that flight back to Chicago in January 2013. He will go back to Chicago, take some time off and then start giving meaningless "hope and change" speeches in Europe!
Like Pres Carter, Pres BO will become an international celebrity with little political clout back here! He will be popular in Paris, Stockholm, etc. Again, he won't have much a reputation back here where US voters live!
