Have you seen those protests in France? or what about the cutbacks in Great Britain?
What's going on?
The answer is simple: UNSUSTAINABLE!

They're not really reconsidering whether they should continue to have the welfare states most European countries committed to after World War II, but they're trying to make welfare spending somewhat affordable and responsible – and at least in France face massive demonstrations that threaten to tie the country in knots."
We can learn a lesson or two from Europe.
First, we must remain a "work oriented" society rather than a "vacation or give me something for nothing" society.
Second, government services are vital until they cost so much that no one can afford them.
Third, "free this or that" means high taxes!
Fourth, socialism doesn't work!
Pres BO now finds himself to the left of Pres Sarkozy, PM Cameron, Pres Burlosconi and Chancellor Merkel.
Pres BO wants to bring some of that European welfare state to the US.
Will someone tell him that it's not working?
P.S. On election day, the US voters will express themselves loudly and clearly. They will tell Pres BO that we don't want the US to look like Europe!
