The Dallas Stars were the only local team that won anything this weekend. They are 2-0 after starting the season with over-time wins in New Jersey and New York.
No one else was so lucky!
Texas A&M lost a tough game against Arkansas, the annual game at the new Cowboys' stadium.
The Rangers lost twice to the Rays. It was a huge disappointment for very large crowds hoping to see the first home playoff victory in team history.
Yes, the Rangers are still looking for that elusive home post-season victory.
The Cowboys didn't do much better.
The 1-3 Cowboys gave us another game of penalties and just too many turnovers at the wrong time.
Again, it was horrible around here. (I guess that Arlington made out OK from all of those parking fees and fans eating around the games!)
Let's hope that the Rangers can beat Tampa and start the ALCS here against the Yankees on Friday. (Maybe they can win their first home post season game then!)
