Let the Congress, not judges, work on "don't ask, don't tell"!

Let's talk about "Don't ask don't tell", the 1993 compromise drafted by the US military and Congress.

It made sense in 1993.

It makes sense today when we are fighting two wars!

This week, a federal judge decided to issue an injunction against "DADT".

The Obama administration has correctly filed an appeal.

Why is a judge telling the military how to run its affairs anyway? Why bring political correctness into the armed forces?

As I said back in 1993, let the military run the military.

According to Gen Conway of The Marines Corps, there is huge opposition in the ranks to serving with "openly homosexual" troops:

""When we take a survey of our Marines, by and large, they say that they are concerned that it will cause potential problems with regard to their order and discipline -- that it will impact their sense of unit cohesion," Conway said." (FoxNews)

Let's trust the general's opinion. He knows more about military discipline than any of us do!

P.S. Of course, this is a political nightmare for Pres BO because of another stupid campaign promise, i.e. his promise to end "DADT".
