It took a couple of years and here it is:
"Shocker: Bush beats Obama 48/43 in poll"
"Shock poll: Americans think Bush doing a better job than Obama (and more)"
"Shocker: Bush beats Obama 48/43 in poll"
"Shock poll: Americans think Bush doing a better job than Obama (and more)"
This is interesting in many ways:
First, Pres Bush left office with low approval ratings, largely related to the bad economy in 2008.
Second, Pres BO came in with a lot of "goodwill" and expectations.
However, it did not long for the numbers to flip.
Why?
Pres Bush was always a leader. He made decisions and did not call his opponents 'enemies" or bash the people who pay taxes.
Pres BO is not a leader. Instead, his recent comments about "enemies" just confirms that he is the guy who sat in Rev Wright's church!
On a personal level, I'm happy for Pres Bush because he is a decent man who had to deal with horrible problems.
We were always confident that history would be kind to Pres Bush.
I just didn't think that it would happen so quickly!
