We said it over and over during 2008! We said that candidate BO was either very naive or just cynically telling a lot of people what they wanted to hear.

Again, candidate BO was either very naive or just another Chicago politician feeding red meat to the base.
Why are so many Dems just a bit down these days? Look at the guy that they voted for and the promises that he did not keep.
Barone makes a big point:

Yes he did have to eventually govern....and that was the moment when the "healing the planet" speeches turned into telling the "yes we can" screamers what they did not want to hear! .
