Yes, we support Stephen Broden for Congress in US House # 30.
Initially, I supported him because Mr Broden is a conservative and a man of character.
Today, I am emphasizing "character" because the 30th district is in desperate need of a legislator who can be trusted with our money and the power.
Rep Johnson abused her power. I agree with The Dallas Morning News' endorsement:
"But if ever there was a moment for change in this district, which encompasses many of southern Dallas' struggles, this is it.
Johnson, 74, refuses to acknowledge how she has insulted her constituents by awarding at least 23 scholarships over several years from the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation to relatives and the children of a staffer instead of to students in southern Dallas."
Rep Johnson needs to go. The 30th district needs new blood and Broden is the man who will make things happen.
